Letting out some frustration, bare with me. COmedy Central has really ruined Hot Fuzz. They aired it tonite and let me tell you it was one of the worst chop jobs on a movie ever!! being the nerd i am, i came across a wiki that explains the tropes and idioms in fiction. hot fuzz satirizes many tropes, and they are pointed out and explained here.  

Has anyone ever noticed the bit where Nicholas comes back to Sandford right after the petrol station sequence and Reaper says "Another beautiful day in God's country" then you see Nick in Danny's car and Reaper says "Danny?".... has anyone ever noticed the slight nod from Nicholas, as if to say, "Yes he's the reason I'm back" I've probably been ( Read more... )
